武汉理工大学华大二学生普林两年来替母扫街,他的事迹经报道后在社会上引发了强烈反响。2月7日,华召开专题会议,院党委授予普林“爱老孝亲自强不息优秀大学生”荣誉称号,并决定以他为榜样,号召全院大学生深入开展向普林学习的活动。 据悉,报道见报当日,武汉理工大学华就迅速派人到普林家中了解情况,同时也向周边同学详细询问普林的感人事迹。该校学工处处长说,普林对父母孝顺,对社会感恩,集中体现了当代大学生勇于担当的社会责任感,这与学校重视感恩教育和励志教育的风尚是非常吻合的,作为一名教育工作者,看到这么懂事的好学生,内心备感欣慰。 此外,武汉理工大学华还决定,通过给普林提供勤工助学岗位、助学金等多种方式,帮助他缓解生活压力,让他能集中精力完成好学业。该院院长表示,他个人将对普林实行“一帮一”资助,每年资助他2000元生活补贴。
