My kitchen shelves are filled with cookbooks. Some are my __ 1 __ so I use them over and over. They are not just about food; they are also about sweet __ 2 __ . The smell of a pound cake in the oven( 烤炉 ) takes me back to times spent baking with my grandpa. We always banged the oven door to make the cake __ 3 __ because we both liked the crunchy( 脆的 )top. If the cake fell, there was more of that yummy crunch. A bowl of chili makes me __ 4 __ my daddy, and the countless times __ 5 __ him stirring( 搅拌 )a big stockpot for family and friends.
