If the meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., make sure you get there a few minutes early, so that you can gather your thoughts and avoid rushing in at the last minute and interrupting the meeting when it has already started. Even If you are very well acquainted with your manager and colleagues, you must still speak and act in a dignified and respectful manner during the meeting. Do not speak in an over familiar way. An unprofessional attitude will be harmful to your work of business when you least respect it. You are not supposed to just sit in a room and listen as your manager or colleagues bring up each agenda. It is an opportunity for you to actively participate in the discussion. Company meetings are called so that everyone in attendance can have the opportunity to take part. It is not intended for one person to dominate the meeting in lengthy discussion.
