Long, long ago, an old woman became blind after a serious illness. She went to see many doctors, but nobody was able to cure her eyes. She was very worried. One day, an eye doctor came to her house. He said he could cure her eyes. The old woman said she wanted to give him much money if he could cure her eyes. "But you will get nothing if you cannot," said the woman. The doctor found she was very rich and there were many good things inn her house. He stole many things from the house. Several days later, the old woman could see with her eyes. The doctor asked for the money. The old woman didn't give him and said angrily, "You haven't cured my eyes. Before I was blind I could see all the things in my room. But now I can see nothing."
