Moreover, focus your attention on our customers and what they talk about. We should try our best to be interested and listen carefully. People tend to like people who like them. Treat others as you would like to be treated. As we know, clothes make the man or woman. So please iron your clothes, cut your hair and act like a professional. Our posture is an expression of our confidence and personality. So we should stand up and make our customers feel that we’re confident and energetic. Don’t be slouchy. Finally, please allow plenty of open space for our customers to browse. We should stand at least 3 feet from the displays or equipment. Be an observer but not a guard. Allow prospects to approach the displays without your interference. Too small a space may make customers feel uncomfortable and even claustrophobic.
