Zhang Lin works in a large travel agency (旅行社) in Beijing. She studied English. Now she is talking about her job. “ I was born and brought up in Beijing, and I’m very happy to work here. I like this job because I’m interested in travel. Generally, this agency handles many foreign clients. Some are from Europe and the Americans. Most are business people. They book flights. They book hotel rooms. And sometimes they want to change their bookings. My job is to make all these arrangements. Of course, English is important. I use it all the time. I like my job because I can meet all kinds of interesting people.”
