Betty: So, how should we go to the supermarket, Brian? Mom asked us to pick up some ( 1 ) this afternoon. Brian: Well, I think we should go on the ( 2 ). Betty: It’s a nice day to ride on the scooter. But we have lots of groceries to carry back, so we can’t go by scooter. Brian: Oh, then, why don’t we go by car? Betty: Yeah, but it’s such a short distance, and it’ll be difficult to find ( 3 ). Brian: True. I suggest we go on foot. Or how about we ( 4 )? Betty: No, we’re not going to the supermarket across the river. We’re going to the one that’s in the city center. Brian: Okay then, how do you think we should go? Betty: Let’s go by bus. Um... no, no, I changed my mind. Let’s go by taxi. It’ll be easier to bring all those groceries back. Brian: Why didn’t you just say so ( 5 )? Let’s go then.
