阅读材料，回答下列问题。 【材料一】近50年来，受气候、环境等客观因素和人类不合理开发等主观因素的影响，我国每年由地震、旱涝、沙尘暴、疫病等自然灾害造成的直接经济损失约占国民生产总值的百分之四。以目前人类的科学技术水平和能力，人们还无法阻止自然灾害的发生，但是完全可以根据自然灾害发生的规律和特点，采取积极有效的措施，尽量地减少损失。为更好地防灾减灾，我们要有强烈的危机意识和必要的应急知识，以应对突如其来的灾难。 【材料二】近年来，我国部分地区频繁发生地震自然灾害，地震成为了我国最主要的自然灾害之一。地震是一种不规律的地壳运动。根据历史记录，全球7级以上地震的发生，最少的时候一年不到10次，最多的时候一年可达30多次。具体到某一区域，更是无法确定，可能几年才发生一次，也可能一年发生几次。目前地震学家能做的事情，就是把每一场地震的来龙去脉搞清楚，把握每一点蛛丝马迹，通过不断加深对地震的认识，为将来可能的突破打下基础。 请从规律的角度分析，我们应该如何应对自然灾害的侵袭？
