Okay, one of the first things that we have to look at when we are talking about __1__to communication, and it is a really big one, one that you might not even think was a big deal, but it really is. And I am talking about culture in the sense of cultural differences. When I talk about culture, well, what is culture? Culture is tradition, things that a particular family or particular _2__ do, like Thanksgiving. Here in America, what do we do? We get turkey, we eat the dressing, but in a lot of Italian family, you know what they eat on Thanksgiving? Pasta. Who knew? Those__3_, tiny differences in relation to culture can create ___4__ barriers to communication. And I am talking across the board, maybe we’re talking about male-female relationships and we could also be talking about work, school, professors, students, any relationship that you have. Culture is the way a person speaks, the way they dress, the way they act, and the food they eat, all of their__5__. So, by accepting a person’s culture, and letting it be Okay that they are different, you can break down one of the main barriers to communication.
