I am James Penguin. Jane Penguin is my wife. Our home is as cold as an icebox, but we love it. Our land is very large. We see only sonw and ice all around .But our land is not all white . There are bright colors, too .It has the colors of the the sky . We like our summer very much. The sun shines all the time . We have no night at all. Then comes winter. The sun never shines. It is night all the time! What do we eat? Shall-fish! We get them from the sea. Most of the time we live on the water. We can't fly, but we can swim very fast. Every autumn, we go back the land. There Jane lays two eggs. Then she goes back to the sea for food. I take care of the eggs. At last Jane comes back. We are so happy to see each other! We live with many other penguins. Some of them who are called humans live in our ice-box, too. We think they are funny! They come and go in big birds called planes.
