"I'm so sorry, 10 I had thought that you wanted to end our friendship." I said. "What?" he nearly shouted, looking much surprised. "I”ve left you alone because I thought that was 11 you wanted," "Oh, my God! 12 would I want that?" I shouted, completely puzzled. Clearly, we both had been understanding each other 13 At first Charles couldn't accept my apology, but eventually, he did 14 me. We 15 started hanging out together again. And our friendship wasn't destroyed at all.
