'No new taxes.' This is a quote we remember the 1992 【S1】______ presidential election. There are thing done in a presidential 【S2】______ election year that have questionable motives as to whether they are done in the best interest of the people or in the interest of the presidential candidate. These hiding interests 【S3】______ are one of the biggest problems which best exemplified in the Vietnam War. Although the South Vietnam asked for our help, which we had previously promised, but the entire 【S4】______ conflict was managed to meet personal political agendas more than to bring a quick end to the conflict. This can be 【S5】______ seen in the selective bombing of Hanoi throughout the course of the Vietnam War. Politically this strategy looked very good. However, military it was ludicrous. War is the one 【S6】______ arena in which politicians have no place. Thus, the U.S. Military should be allowed to conduct any conflict that it has been commit to without political interference or control 【S7】______ because of the problems and hidden interests which are always present when dealing with politics. The military gave full control to use force as they saw 【S8】______ fit. That is the fact that the military is best suited for con-ducting wars. Politicians are not. It is not the place for 【S9】______ politicians to be involved in the decision making process in regards to war or military strategy. Let's just pray that it does not cost the death of another 58,000 of American men 【S10】______ to learn that the politicians' place is not in war but in peace. 【S1】
