唱收唱付 某日,一位美籍华人请一个在国内的老同学在饭店内的餐厅吃饭。本来那位老同学说这顿饭就该由他作东,而那位美籍华人执意不肯(大概是考虑老同学的经济能力),老同学只好说:“那么改日到我家里来聚一次,为你送行吧!”两人进餐厅坐下以后,服务员送上菜谱,那位美籍华人接过一看,全都是标有价钱的,于是先请老同学点菜。老同学本一想点几样价钱公道便宜的,但感到无从点起,于是说:“随便吃什么都可以,上三菜一可以了。”那位美籍华人也感到为难,于是要服务员介绍一些有特色的拿手菜,服务员随口报了三个。美籍华人征询了老同学的意见以后对服务员说:“再来一盘醋溜黄鱼和一碗汤,菜不够再中吧。”两人边吃倒也开心,最后客人说已经用饱了,不必再加菜了。随后服务员送来帐单:“你们两位一共吃了280元。”如果是在单独或和亲人用餐的情况下,这位美藉华人对服务员的这句话能忍受的,但在老同学(客人)的面前实在感到忍受不住了。当时他顾不上那么多,便当着客人的面对服务员说:“你不要大声嚷嚷好不好!”“在我们这里叫做唱收唱付。”服务员竟理直气壮地回敬了那位美藉华人(主人),弄得他啼笑皆非。服务员做的对为什么。
