This should help provide extra security for our telephone systems. Your authorization number will go from four digits to five digits in length. A '3' will be added to the start of your authorization number. For example, if your number was '1234' , it will change to '31234' . Remember that if you have automatic telephones or fax machines, they will have to be reprogrammed. The authorization number is not necessary when making-local calls.
